Check the complete apartment address
Begin with the street address and unit number. A provider may serve the surrounding area or even part of a property without being able to activate the intended unit, especially when buildings contain different wiring, ownership phases or service arrangements.
Ask whether the unit has an active connection, whether a technician needs access to a shared equipment room and whether property approval is required. A city or ZIP-code result is useful for research but is not proof of serviceability.
Understand building and account conditions
Some properties include connectivity, market a preferred provider or maintain existing equipment. Confirm what is included in rent, whether residents can choose another service and who is responsible for installation, support, equipment and cancellation.
Read the current provider terms rather than relying only on leasing material. Compare the regular monthly cost, promotion period, equipment, installation, data policies and any requirement connected to another product or payment method.

Coordinate the appointment with building rules, elevator or access schedules and any required property contact. Keep order details and confirm whether the installer can complete the intended connection without unapproved changes to the unit.
When moving, verify the destination as a new address rather than assuming service transfers unchanged. Record equipment identifiers, follow current return instructions and keep receipts so an old device or account does not create an avoidable charge.
